Zunehmend suchen Komponentenhersteller nach Lösungen zur Bereitstellung zertifizierter digitaler Zwillinge ihrer Hardwareprodukte, um ihren Kunden eine virtuelle Inbetriebnahme (VIBN) von Automatisierungslösungen zu ermöglichen. Mit dem TwinStore wird dies Realität: Komponentenmodelle, die hinsichtlich Schnittstellen, Parametern und Verhaltensmerkmalen das Verhalten der realen Hardware abbilden, werden über die TwinStore Plattform für ein digitales Engineering bereitgestellt. Aus den TwinStore Bibliotheken kann nahtlos im VIBN-Werkzeug das Simulationsmodell der kundenindividuellen Automatisierungslösung projektiert werden. Die Bibliotheken umfassen Roboter- und Greifsysteme, Antriebs- und Fördertechnik bis hin zu Sensorikkomponenten. Die Verfügbarkeit eines digitalen Zwillings entwickelt sich zum entscheidenden Verkaufsmerkmal eines Komponentenherstellers und reduziert die Modellierungszeiten beim Maschinen- und Anlagenbauer.

TwinStore - Online platform for component models for virtual commissioning

Increasingly, component manufacturers are looking for solutions to provide certified digital twins of their hardware products to enable virtual commissioning (VIBN) of automation solutions to their customers. With the TwinStore this becomes reality: Component models mapping the behavior of real hardware in terms of interfaces, parameters and behavioral characteristics are made available for digital engineering via the TwinStore platform. The simulation model of the customer-specific automation solution can be seamlessly configured in the virtual commissioning tool tool from the TwinStore libraries. The libraries include robot and gripper systems, drive and conveyor technology, and even sensor components. The availability of a digital twin is becoming a decisive sales feature of component manufacturers and reduces the modeling times for machine and plant manufacturers.
