In DSM 7, Synology Active Backup for Business is now fully compatible with VMware vSphere 7. in DSM 6 the highest version of supported VMware vSphere is 6.7. if you haven't installed DSM 7 beta yet, take this into account.

With Synology Active Backup for Business we can perform a "classic" restore of a virtual machine back to its original location in our vCenter server and we can also do an "Instant Restore" of a virtual machine in Synology VMM. this process is performed in this video.
Synology Active Backup for Business can help create business continuity even in cases of complete virtual machine loss while greatly minimizing RTO.
