Works like a charm, high quality product and beats others at price to performance.
Easy board to work with on my first scratch gaming PC build. No issues with fitment, cable management and post. Bios and UEFI Interface is informative and easy to use.
Manual is also fairly user friendly if needed. Good sweet spot balance of performance, mobo features and price.
The MSI Z490 Tomahawk motherboard installed and setup easily, and I had no complications. Be sure to check the DDR4 memory modules for compatibility at the MSI website to make sure they will work.

Windows downloaded and set up everything, but I had to download and install a few drivers from MSI. I had to download realtek-pcielan w10, intel chip, intel network, and realtek audio.
The 2.5 GBps ethernet LAN is super fast. Previously I had always purchased ASUS motherboards, but I decided to try MSI. Im very impressed with MSI. The Z490 Tomahawk is A+.
Was skeptical at first, but when i received it, it worked perfectly. Greatest Motherboard i've ever bought.
Here's my 3 cents: 1. Excellent VRM design to help cool down on overclocking. 2. Lighting fast USB 20G 3. Turbo M.2: Running at PCI-E Gen3 x4 maximizes performance for NVMe based SSDs.
