The year 2020 appears to be very turbulent and dynamic in the field of international relations and security. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new challenges for Europe as well as for all continents. The constant threat of the COVID-19 virus has slowed development in the Euro-Atlantic area. However, even in such a situation, we must not forget the relentless geopolitical rivalry and, even in times of crisis, focus on further strengthening security in Europe in a spirit of mutual cooperation.
