Gilead is a research-based biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialisation of innovative medicines. A week before lockdown, Gilead made the decision to request all staff work from home. With teleworking tools already in place, the business was used to this way of working and provided employees with both the IT needed and ergonomic furniture. In order to return to face-to-face work, we collaborated with Gilead, providing IoT systems connected to thermal cameras, occupancy control and gauges were placed in common spaces using sensors and intelligent signalling was installed. This created a safe working environment, so that employees felt comfortable returning to office work.
