Over 1,300 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in a major coronavirus outbreak at a meat packing plant in Guetersloh as of Monday. The plant, operated by the Tonnies Group, has been closed since the outbreak was discovered on Wednesday, while the entire workforce has been quarantined.

Various vehicles can be seen driving in and out of the plant's parking lot. Out of nearly 5,899 test results, 1,331 have come back positive so far.

Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia Armin Laschet has not yet declared a city-wide lockdown.

The CEO from the meat industry company Clemens Tonnies announced on Sunday that the company would pay for coronavirus tests for the population in the Gutersloh district.
