Howard Carpendale sang in den 70-er Jahren seinen Erfolgshit „Ich geb mir selbst ne Party, eine einsame Party…“. Von gleich auf jetzt wurde die Menschheit Ende 2019, Anfang 2020 von der Corona-Pandemie erfaßt und es traten weltweit Ausgangsbeschränkungen und dergleichen in Kraft, die man sich eigentlich vorher hatte nicht vorstellen können. An ein bisher gewohntes normales Leben war nicht mehr zu denken und auch alle Veranstaltungen mußten abgesagt werden. Das traf natürlich auch auf unser liebgewonnenes Eisenbahn-, Modellbahnhobby zu. Nix ist mehr los, die Menschen rennen mit Schutzmasken im Abstand von 1,5m herum. Erfahrungsaustausch findet nur noch am Smartphone oder PC statt. Die beliebten persönlichen Treffen, alles Fehlanzeige.
Das „12. Östlichste Gartenbahntreffen in Deutschland am 23. Mai 2020“ war davon auch betroffen und konnte nicht stattfinden und wo sich sonst viele Liebhaber der Gartenbahn drängen stand man als Veranstalter jetzt einsam, allein und verlassen herum. Das Wetter zeigte sich an diesem Tag auch sehr traurig, nur vereinzelt gab es Auflockerungen. Trotz allem sind wir die ein Hobby haben noch gut bedient, denn wir haben Beschäftigung und können uns an unserer Kreativität erfreuen. Wenn es auch heißt „Eine einsame Corona-Gartenbahnparty…“
Und so wurde eigenhändig Dampfbetrieb organisiert und man konnte auch ein paar Fahrzeuge wie den NWE T3 oder das „Himbeereis“ 187 015 beobachten, die heute beim großen Vorbild leider auf dem Abstellgleis stehen und auch auf bessere Zeiten hoffen. Sehr interessant auch der Einblick auf die Baustelle zur Sanierung der Untersuchungsgrube im Bw.
Die Filmaufnahmen waren durchaus sehr aufwändig und fanden an mehreren Tagen in den Monaten April bis Juni 2020 statt. Es ist nicht einfach allein die Kamera zu bedienen und gleichzeitig zwei Züge zu steuern. Aber ich denke das Gesamtpaket stimmt und so wünsche ich viel Freude mit Teil 1 des Filmes „Eine einsame Corona-Gartenbahnparty“. Ob das mit der Untersuchungsgrube etwas geworden ist und wie Bahnbetrieb in der Finsternis bei Vollmond aussieht werden wir in Teil 2 zu sehen bekommen.

From equal on now, mankind was hit by the corona pandemic in late 2019 and early 2020 and exit restrictions and the like came into force worldwide that could not have been imagined before. It was no longer possible to think of a normal life that had been accustomed to, and all events had to be canceled. Of course, this also applied to our beloved railroad and model railroad hobby. Nothing is going on, people are running around with protective masks at a distance of 1.5m. Exchange of experience only takes place on a smartphone or PC. The popular personal meetings, nothing possible.
The “12th Easternmost garden railroad meeting in Germany on May 23, 2020 ”was also affected and could not take place and where otherwise many fans of the garden railroad are stands, the organizer was now lonely, alone and abandoned. The weather was also very sad that day, only occasionally there were loosenings. Despite everything, we are still well served with a hobby, because we have employment and can enjoy our creativity. If it also says "A lonely Corona garden railway party ..."
And so was steam operation self organized and you could also see a few vehicles such as the NWE T3 or the "Raspberry Ice Cream" 187 015, which unfortunately are on the siding today at the the great role model and also hope for better times. Also very interesting is the view of the construction site for the renovation of the inspection pit in the depot.
The filming was very complex and took place over several days from April to June 2020. It is not easy to operate the camera alone and control two trains at the same time. But I think the whole package is right and so I wish you a lot of pleasure with part 1 of the film "A lonely Corona garden railway party". In part 2 we will see if this has become something with the inspection pit and what train operations look like in the dark under a full moon.
