BSNL launches 'world's first' satellite-based narrowband-IoT network

In association with connectivity firm Skylotech India 

The device will be provided only through the state-run firm at a price of around Rs 10,000 per unit

Users can carry the square-shaped device to any part of the country

Service can be used where mobile towers are absent, even at the sea

BSNL aims to provide affordable and innovative telecom services and tech across India
