#Coronavirus-related deaths in Germany are three times lower than they are in the UK.

Health professionals around the world have applauded the speed and testing capabilities of German authorities.

The country is already testing 50,000 people per day.

At the daily coronavirus press conference, chief medical officer Chris Whitty said lessons are being learned from Germany's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
