Why Games SUCK! Call of the Wild The Angler Edition. In this video we are talking about why games suck again and the reason for this one is the Call of the Wild The Angler gameplay. CotW The Angler is a newly released, open world fishing game by the creators of theHunter Call of the Wild that features a nice big, open world with barely any fishing features whatsoever and people have jumped to Steam to defend the game. The Call of the Wild The Angler review posts on Steam are crazy, people are defending the game leaving a thumbs up even after pointing out there are lots of issues, some even listing more negatives than positives. No fish finder on boats, no rod stands or bite alarms and the angle of the float don’t change no matter what you do when you’re float fishing are just a few problems next to the fact that the game is way more focused on exploration of the open world than it is fishing.

There are 2 vehicles in the game, a boat and a car or jeep that have purchases available in the store (in-game currency) that are purely liveries making the purchases completely pointless with character customization that is bare at the start, being sold in the store when the game is first person unless you've caught a fish. This is a full release, games shouldn’t be like this at all and it’s a shame that people are jumping to defend it in their CotW The Angler review posts on Steam because I know the developers could have done such a better job making sure the game was polished, making sure it had a lot more features in it and overall made it a better experience without the emphasis on exploration in a fishing game.
