Corona stresst uns alle. Viele sind schlecht drauf. Dies wird häufig vorschnell mit dem Begriff „Depression“ verbunden. Es zeigt, dass Depressionen als oft langwierige Krankheit von vielen immer noch unterschätzt wird. In der Gesellschaft fehlt ein offenerer Umgang mit der Erkrankung. Wir brauchen noch mehr Aufklärung.

VIOLA möchte deswegen nicht nur musikalisch ein Zeichen setzen. Ihre neue Single „Enter The Fray“ thematisiert den Kampf gegen die Dunkelheit und ist gleichzeitig der Startschuss in 2021 für ihr neue ehrenamtliche Aufgabe. „Enter the Fray“, stürze Dich in den Kampf!

Ein Titel, der VIOLAs Leben nicht treffender beschreiben könnte: „Als ehemalige Angst- und Depressionspatientin musste ich viele Jahre lang hart um meine seelische Gesundheit kämpfen. Es war dabei wichtig, immer und immer wieder aufzustehen. Die Kernfrage hierbei war und ist: Willst Du, dass es so für Dich endet!?“ Es hat Zeit und Hilfe gebraucht, aber heute ist VIOLA gesund und hat endlich genug Kraft, um mit und für andere zu kämpfen – und das wird sie tun!

A title that could not describe VIOLA's life more aptly: "As a former anxiety and depression patient I had to fight hard for my mental health for many years. It was important to get up again and again. The core question here was and is: “Do you want it to end in this way?" It took time and help, but VIOLA is healthy today and finally has enough strength to fight with and for others - and she will!

As a newly appointed patron of the „Bündnis gegen Depression“ (Alliance Against Depression) VIOLA wants to help to de-taboo depression and other mental illnesses.
