What's Up on the U-Box?

:: The last update before Spring 2021 is here, and it is long-overdue. Tonight's stream will is going to be a long one, covering the past 4 weeks. I need to get back to the regular streaming schedule again. The amount of information to cover amassed pretty fast, and I'm not sure if this stream will cover everything. A lot happened in the last month being off-screen...

A few more notes:
- Our livestreams will be scheduled through Restream.io, for a consolidated workflow
- Livestreams will occur every 1-2 weeks, between Friday and Sunday (assuming nothing comes up)
- If not Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, the make-up day is Monday (not guaranteed)
- Not all livestreams will have guests and tech news topics
- Live chat through YouTube and Twitch are being checked through Restream Chat

The vCenter Server Appliance got replaced finally. That happened over the week of the 14th. But it took the entire work week to find a working ISO for 6.7. Then, when I tried installing it, I kept running into unrecoverable installation errors. Each install attempt took anywhere from 30-45 minutes, and failed attempts left behind a vCSA VM that needed to be removed (1-4 minutes). I took 4-5 attempts to get it right, and it was ~04:00 the next day by the time I was finished. Good thing I didn't try this on a day where I have to wake up for work afterward.

This week, I had job market research everyday after work, resume edits/review, and other tasks. Communicating with hiring agencies, to figure out what employers may start asking for in the future, re-focusing my resume for the field I'm in, etc. Also had a family event and a food giveaway to attend to - which claimed most of the weekend.

The week of the 7th was when I worked on the modpack releases. Google Drive got their releases ~1 week before CurseForge, and I even managed to get the Drive link wrong initially. Between that and attending to a lost package worth ~470 USD, this was a hectic month. At least I managed to get a new mechanical keyboard while sweating this one out. I may have a few items for sale on eBay in the next week or so - for anyone looking into Xeon E7 v2 processors.

Please do count up the number of times I said "Uh", "Umm", and other noises - totally waiting for a tally on that.
