Overwatch 2's marketing cycle has been about as chaotic as you can get. Mixed messaging, fan backlash, a swapping of business models, and looming concern over the content coming in for this sequel. Well, after playing it, I can confidently say this isn't a sequel. Blizzard was quick to slap the "early access" tag on this one despite most of the game being the full $60 we bought back in 2016. With all that in mind, I can't deny Overwatch's fun factor. The heroes, new meta, Push mode, and maps don't necessarily breathe new life into the game, but helped remind me how fun it can be.
