Well the tile says it all folks... If any of you caught my video regarding the freak mishap with the mylar balloons getting blown into the power pole due to negligent neighbors, you'll know the server that I have reliable used for a good year or so, suffered bricked logic and unresponsive I/O... Being a used board with many hours on it I can only assume that this was simply a long time coming. Luckily the vital components such as the pair of CPU's, memory modules, and storage has not been compromised. I'm also equally fortunate that the server I selected, directly supports everything I'm carrying over without any need for alteration or additional expenditure. I still have NO idea what cause the server to react so erratically considering it is behind quite the substantial UPS, but I guess when it rains, it truly does pour. Please enjoy this overview of the roundup of the initial component roster that will be installed in the new unit and a brief explanation of what's to come in part 2.
