Left is Seagate 500GB 5400RPM, right is cloned copy Samsung 850 Evo 500GB purchased on Amazon @ http://a.co/2oHTwao for $230 CDN.

Start up is not that much faster, but programs respond much quicker...

Cloned with Carbon Copy Cloner by attaching drive with SATA to USB adapter, then installing internally.

Non scientific test powers on, and opens Dropbox, Microsoft Excel, and Google Chrome.
