Install SSD in MacBook Pro The Fast Way: Upgrade your Macbook - Follow these steps and get a serious speed upgrade.

If you are looking for a way to get more out of your MacBook or MacBook Pro one of the first things you'll hear is get a solid-state drive (SSD). SSDs offer faster data read and write speeds, fast file transfers, speedier boot times and will save you some battery life. In the past SSDs were considered somewhat pricey upgrades and out of reach for many users. Recently the prices have dropped significantly and quality drives can be had for a song through retailers like Amazon and OWC.

Macbook Pro SSD upgrade shown in this video applies to Macbook Pro Unibodys (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013). Macbook Pro SSD installation is pretty easy on older models too and If need be let me know in the comments and I'll find an old mac to install one in. (note speeds will be slower on machines that don't have sata3.
