I currently have a Seagate 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive in my PS3, and I freaking love it. (The SSD in this video is currently in my netbook) You get a whopping 1 THOUSAND Gigabytes and I only had to pay 99 dollars! The most frequently used files are in the SSD partition of it, which I do NOT know how big that is. If you do, PLEASE let me know in the comments, or on Twitter!

I like downloading digital games and NOT having to read from the super slow blu ray drive on the PS3. The PS3 only has a Sata 2 interface, not Sata 3. So that's the bottleneck here. It's quite expensive having a 500GB SSD inside your PlayStation. I'd rather have it in my computer anyways, but damn they are expensive. If you use LESS than 120GB, DEFINITELY go with the 120GB PURE SSD from OCZ. The dashboard (PS interface) loads insanely quick and even retrieving messages is a very fast, compared to before where it would almost look empty for a second, before they would all start to load.

A very big thank you goes to OCZ for providing me with the SSD that I used in this video.

I hope the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox 720 (Infinity) allow us to use SSD's. The Next Xbox is supporting USB 3.0, and I have a SUPER fast (200 MB/s Read 120MB/s Write) flash drive and there is one that's way faster than that!
