Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" YouTube Channel!

This video shows you what it's like to see this vehicle 2011 Chevy Chev Chevrolet GM Traverse (similar to GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, Saturn Outlook, Cadillac XT6, and the former Uplander, TrailBlazer and Chevy Orlando). You get to see what the problem is. This vehicle has a problem where if you operate the power remote automatic tail gate tailgate, rear hatch, liftgate, lift gate, rear door power opener support, lift, shock, piston, holder, rod, bar, OTHER KEYWORDS,
The problem is, that if you open the rear door, even if not using the powered opener, then the door will only go up part way, about half way, and then it closes back down. The reason cause fault diagnosis diagnose, is that the piston support rods have failed. in this case, only 1 road rod piston has failed, but the vehicle needs but the door requires both 2 pistons because the rear hatch rear door is so heavy too heavy for just 1 to hold it open. So that's why the door re-closes. So we got a set of new liftgate supports from amazon for about $23.

This video shows you what it's like to see these brand new lift gate support piston rods pressure cylinder nitrogen rod, that were purchased from Amazon for about $23 for the set of 2. That's pretty cheap for the pair. These are designed to help open up the rear hatch trunk liftgate tailgate rear door that flips up, even though it has a power liftgate, and these pistons are required to help the door get opened, because the door is so heavy, that the power mechanism can't do it by itself. So if these pistons go bad, then the gate door won't open, it might go part way up, and then it will just fall right back down. Boo hoo cry and be sad. Until you get new ones, and then it will work great again! Yeah, smile laugh and be happy! awesome cool great good new nice things and tremendous fabulous OTHER KEYWORDS, automotive, repair, technology, learn, learning, tech school, teacher, student, auto tech, mechanical, fix, test, diagnose, ask a question, get an answer, diy, do it yourself, repair at home, save money, test it out, what's wrong, how to fix your own car, how to fix Chevy traverse tailgate rear door problem, Chevy traverse liftgate won't stay up, keeps falling down, can't open, closes on its own, isn't working, what's wrong,
