Remove scratches on your car with MoTip. This video will show you how to fix scratches with car paint using MoTip products. MoTip Car Repair items are very suitable to repair small damages like scratches on the bodywork. The MoTip Repair System consists all required products to repair scratches. Do it yourself!

All steps:

Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and act accordingly. Keep in mind that the drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied. The aerosols should have room temperature. Always shake the aerosols before use and spray a sample. Before applying the next layer, again shake the aerosol.

Step 1: Remove any rust or old paint layers by sanding the surface.
Step 2: Clean and degrease the surface around the scratch to be treated with a degreaser.
Step 3: Tape oﬀ an ample area around the surface.
(Step 3,5: With deeper scratches use fine putty. Mix the fine putty and apply the desired layer thickness. Let it dry for about 1 hour. Sand again and clean and degrease afterwards.)
Step 4: Apply the primer in several thin layers. The primer comes in different colours. choose the colour that best suits your car colour
Step 5: Apply a layer of the sanding key aid and lightly wet sand the surface.
Step 6: Clean and degrease the surface again.
Step 7: Use the MoTip Colour Search app to ﬁnd the right colour paint for your car.
Step 8: Apply the lacquer in several thin layers and let it dry well for about 2 hours.
Step 9: Apply two overlapping layers of clear lacquer, use spot blender if needed. Let it dry thoroughly.
Step 10: Take off the tape.
