So, I threw this together for a friend who wants to know how to install a second hard drive into his pc. In this video I install a HDD or Hard disk drive and an SSD or Solid state drive, show the cables needed like SATA 3 ( Sata iii) and the Sata Power connector. I show you the parts of the drive to connect and where to on the motherboard. Some experiences may vary but the basics is the same.

Sata data cable to sata connector on the hdd or ssd, connect the other end to the motherboard sata port, lowest number first. Connect the sata power from the power supply to the sata power connector on the hard drive. Mount into the case and then format in windows.
