How to install Windows 10 on a Mac using Boot Camp Assistant
Before installing Windows on Mac, I recommend running a time machine back up.

Step 1:
First, you need a copy of windows. You can get this directly from Microsoft.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO
The download process of Windows will take some time depending on the speed of your computer.
Step 2:
Once you download windows, you need to open Bootcamp assistant.
You can find this in the application/utilities/boot camp assistant.
Bootcamp assistant will walk you through partitioning and installing windows. At some point in the process, you will have to activate Windows 10. You can choose between Windows 10 home edition, Education, or Windows 10 Pro.
Once you are finished with the process, you have a dual boot camp, meaning you can run your Mac as a Windows machine or a native Mac computer at any time.
