How To: Fix Broken Steam Desktop Icons

Sometimes Steam Game (Desktop) Icons will 'break'. They will revert to a globe image.. or sometimes something else all together. This can happen for many reasons.. why it happens isn't so important to this video -- I get straight to how to fix it. I use Playerunknown BattleGrounds as an example of how to do so but this obviously applies to EVERY Game.

Find the game in your Steam folder -- Find the executable file for that game (the file that makes the game launch.. ie: game.exe) and it will have the RIGHT icon built in to that file for you to repair your WRONG/broken icon. As shown in this video.
