There are growing fears about the rate of new coronavirus infections in parts of the United Kingdom.
The UK has recorded almost 3,000 new cases of COVID-19 - the second-biggest 24-hour rise since May.
The spike is believed to be driven by young adults who are increasingly not social distancing.
