It's been called the "coronavirus of Australian agriculture". The fall armyworm was first detected in Australia a year ago.

Since then it's marched relentlessly across the country. The food bowl of north Queensland's Atherton Tablelands has lost hundreds of hectares of crops to this hungry caterpillar.
