first look at a Constructa L3 model 55 from 1959.
The L3 is the smaller version of the K3 and only suited for 3 kg of laundry. Timer and almost all of the eletrical parts are identical to the K3. It is equipped with 4 little wheels to move it around - perfect for small kitchens with no permanent space for a washing machine. It also does not need to be bolted to the ground (like the bigger K3) because the wheels absorb enough of movement for the 200rpm spin speed. Like all Constructa's at the time it uses double drain system and overflow rinse cycle. No automatic detergent dispenser and the rubber funnel is not flushed with water but it can do a real boilwash with 100°C.
The L3 was produced in two models (Typ 55 and Typ 101). The Typ 55 was made from 1958 to 1960 by Constructa in Düsseldorf, West Germany.

I got this machine from an old barn and it is in quite nice condition for it's age. The first test showed: nothing happens but also no shorts. Just one wire and a hose need to be replaced and the pump is stuck (WD40 should do the job). Stay tuned for at least one more video about this machine.
Enjoy ~
